This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which event bookings and engagements with आकाशवाणी / Akash Pratap Singh may be cancelled or rescheduled by either party. It should be read together with the Booking Terms and Refund Policy.
A booking is confirmed once the event details, scope and fee are agreed in writing and the booking advance is received. Until then, the date remains provisional and may be offered to other clients.
Regardless of the cancellation window, any non-recoverable costs already incurred on the client's behalf — travel tickets, accommodation, production deposits, printed material — will be deducted from any refund or credit, with receipts provided on request.
If we must cancel a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid or a rescheduled date at no extra charge — your choice. Where possible we will also assist in finding a comparable replacement artist. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a cancellation.
If an event is cut short or interrupted due to circumstances within the client's control (for example, event scheduling overruns, sound failure on the organiser's side, or early closure by the venue), the full agreed fee remains payable. If the interruption is caused by the artist, a fair adjustment will be made.
We are happy to reschedule where possible. One reschedule is generally accommodated without penalty if requested 15 or more days in advance. Repeated reschedules or last-minute changes may be treated as cancellations.
Neither party is liable for cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, government orders, public emergencies, strikes or severe weather. In such cases we will work together to reschedule first; if that is not feasible, amounts paid will be handled equitably after accounting for committed costs.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing — via the Contact page or the email used for your booking — and must quote your booking reference. The effective date of cancellation is the date we receive your written notice. A cancellation is not confirmed until we acknowledge it in writing.
We approach every cancellation with fairness and flexibility. Life happens — events are postponed, plans change. Our aim is always to preserve the relationship and find a workable solution, whether that is a new date, a credit, or a fair refund.
