आकाशवाणी

We understand that plans change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations and rescheduling are handled for bookings and services of आकाशवाणी / Akash Pratap Singh. By confirming a booking you agree to the terms below.

1. Booking Confirmation & Advance

A booking is confirmed only after mutual agreement on the date, scope and fee, and payment of a booking advance (typically 30–50% of the agreed fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing). The advance secures the date on the calendar and covers preparation time. Once the advance is received, the date is held exclusively for your event.

2. Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 30 days before the event: The advance may be credited toward a rescheduled date within 6 months, or refunded minus a small administrative fee.
  • 15–30 days before the event: 50% of the advance is refundable; the balance is retained to cover blocked-date losses.
  • Within 14 days of the event: The advance is non-refundable, as the date has been exclusively reserved and preparation completed.

Any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (travel bookings, accommodation, production) will be deducted from any refund where applicable.

3. Cancellation by the Artist

In the rare event that we must cancel a confirmed booking — for example due to illness, emergency or force majeure — you will be notified as early as possible. You may choose either a full refund of all amounts paid or a rescheduled date at no additional cost. Where feasible we will also help you find a suitable alternative artist. This is the extent of our liability for cancellation; we are not responsible for consequential losses.

4. Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule are accommodated subject to availability. If a new date is agreed, the advance is transferred to the new date. Rescheduling requests made within 14 days of the original date may be treated as cancellations under the terms above, at our discretion.

5. Event Cancellation by Circumstances Beyond Control

For cancellations caused by force majeure — natural disasters, government restrictions, severe weather, or other unforeseeable events — we will work with you in good faith to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, refunds will be handled equitably, taking into account costs already committed.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of confirmation. Bank or payment-gateway processing times may vary. You will receive written confirmation once a refund is initiated.

7. Services Already Rendered

No refunds are available for services already delivered — for example, a completed performance, delivered written content, or a conducted workshop — unless the deliverable materially failed to meet the agreed specification, in which case we will work to remedy the concern.

8. Deposits vs. Final Payments

Where only a booking advance has been paid, the refund terms above apply to that advance. If the full fee has been paid, the refundable portion is calculated after deducting the non-refundable advance component plus any committed third-party costs.

9. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To request a cancellation, reschedule or refund, contact us as soon as possible through the Contact page or the email used for your booking confirmation, quoting your booking reference. Written requests are required to initiate any refund.

10. Disputes

If a disagreement arises, we ask that you contact us first so we can resolve it amicably. We are committed to fair dealing and will always try to reach a reasonable resolution in good faith.
