These Event Terms apply to performances and appearances by आकाशवाणी / Akash Pratap Singh at public and private events. They supplement the Booking Terms and define the on-the-day expectations and responsibilities.
The performance duration and format (poetry set, anchoring, keynote, combined) are as agreed in the booking confirmation. A typical poetry/shayari set runs 30–60 minutes; anchoring spans the event duration; talks run 20–45 minutes. Exact timing is confirmed in advance and should be reflected in the event's run-of-show.
The organiser is responsible for providing: a functioning sound system with a quality microphone (cordless preferred), appropriate stage lighting for evening/large venues, a quiet performance environment during spoken segments, a green room or waiting area, and a named technical/stage contact. For mehfil-style performances, minimal amplification and an intimate setting often work best — we will advise on the optimal setup.
The artist will arrive at the agreed call time (typically 30–60 minutes before the performance) for sound check and coordination. The organiser should ensure the performance slot is honoured as scheduled; significant delays may require the set to be shortened to respect both the artist's commitments and the audience's time.
Please inform us of the audience profile and any content sensitivities at booking. Akash's material ranges from romantic and nostalgic to motivational and socially aware; content is always tasteful, but we appreciate guidance on the tone that suits your event — whether a formal corporate audience, a college crowd, a wedding celebration or a literary mehfil.
Professional recording or broadcast of the performance requires prior agreement. Personal recordings by attendees for non-commercial sharing are generally welcome; commercial use, monetisation or broadcast requires written consent. Official event photography may be shared with the artist for mutual promotional use.
For events requiring travel, the organiser typically provides or reimburses travel and accommodation as agreed. Local hospitality — refreshments, a meal if the event spans meal times, and a comfortable waiting area — is appreciated and helps ensure the best possible performance.
The organiser is responsible for audience safety, crowd management and venue compliance with all applicable regulations. The artist reserves the right to pause or decline to perform if conditions are unsafe, or if the environment is hostile or disrespectful in a way that makes performance impossible.
Where feasible and agreed in advance, Akash is happy to do brief meet-and-greet moments, photographs or interactions with guests after a performance. For large events, please coordinate this with the team to manage time and flow.
We understand events are dynamic. Minor on-the-day adjustments are accommodated where possible. Material changes to scope, duration or format should be communicated to the artist's team as early as possible so they can be handled smoothly.
If your event or audience has accessibility needs or special requirements — sign-language interpretation, seated formats, religious or cultural considerations — please share them at booking so the performance can be planned respectfully and inclusively.
