Events

A standard performance runs 30-60 minutes, but formats are flexible — a crisp 15-minute set for a corporate gala, a 45-minute feature for a college fest, or a full 90-minute mehfil for dedicated poetry evenings. Duration is agreed during booking based on your programme flow.

Absolutely. Akash regularly creates bespoke pieces for specific occasions — a company's milestone, a couple's story, a festival theme or a social cause. Share your theme and any key messages during booking and he will weave them into original, personalised content.

At minimum, a good sound system and a microphone (cordless preferred). For larger stages, basic stage lighting and a confidence monitor help. For mehfils, minimal production is often best. A detailed tech rider is shared once a booking is confirmed.

General

Akash Pratap Singh, performing under the name आकाशवाणी, is a Hindi poet, shayar, writer, orator and content creator. He performs original ghazals, nazms, geets and spoken-word pieces on stages across India and shares his work with a large digital audience. His stage name — 'the voice of the sky' — reflects his belief that sincere words should reach everyone.

His work spans classical and contemporary Hindi poetry — ghazals, nazms, geets, free verse and spoken word — covering themes of love, longing, home, identity, social observation and hope. He also creates short-form video poetry, brand storytelling, event anchoring, motivational talks and writing/performance workshops.

Primarily Hindi and Urdu-inflected Hindustani, with the flexibility to blend English naturally for corporate, college and mixed audiences. The core of his performance is always rooted in the richness of Hindi-Urdu poetic tradition.
